S’more behind the scenes

October 13, 2010 by Adam Casalino

BlogRight now I’m drafting up issue 57 of the Wizard of Quippley.  More and more I find myself sketching thumbnails on ol’ fashion paper.  So much so that I even picked up a moleskin notebook, so I can work on the comic wherever I go.  Here’s proof:

I don’t know if I’m loving the moleskin yet.  Yeah yeah, Hemingway and van Gogh used ’em, but the pages feel stiff and are a bit too off white.  And don’t forget those two killed themselves.  Was it because of the stiff pages?  We’ll probably never know.

Anyway, what can I give away about the upcoming issues?  Well, you will learn more about this strange tower in which Al’s found himself.  You will also meet a bevy of new characters–something I’ve promised you all.  And a few of the unanswered questions from the end of Year 1 will be addressed (like did Al kill a practically immortal  being???).

Stay tuned (just leave your browser on this page for the week).
