Cartoon Al, inked!

October 8, 2010 by Adam Casalino

BlogWould you look at that? I actually did something with one of my random sketches!  Earlier this week I posted a quick sketch of cartoon Algerbane.  I added some inks and scanned it into Photoshop.  The pen I used was pretty bad, so the lines are sloppy (but it’s a sketch, get off my back!).

All in all, I’m not in love with the style.  I want my cartoon stuff to have a Brian Lee O’Malley or Tyson Hesse feel to it.  Super fun and hysterical.  So I’m still working on it.

Cartoon Al sketch

October 4, 2010 by Adam Casalino

Been working on a cartoon style for another project, trying to get a feel for it.  Here is a quick sketch I did of Algerbane, being a little more exasperated that usual.

It’s pretty rough right now.  Perhaps if I get a chance to clean it up some more I’ll posted an inked version.
