Here is the new look for Algerbane, complete with colors. I didn’t add any highlights to the colors, as this will also serve as the palette for when I color him in the comic, and I just need the flats. So what do you think? Is he wizardly enough, or did I go too far?

Sure he looks wizardly enough! He looks like I would expect a traveling, adventuring wizard to look.
After all, Gandalf carried a *sword*, and still looked like a wizard.
Very, very true. I was going for that weather worn, sojourner look. I’d add more details, like bags, scrolls, etc, but it makes it harder to replicate panel after panel.
I don’t know, I think without a pointy hat with a wide, floppy brim, my mental image of a wizard isn’t complete.
I guess I’ll just have to work even harder to convince you of his wizardliness!
