The start of a story

November 8, 2011 by Adam Casalino

Don’t expect to see much of this one for a while…

Of my many flaws, one which seems to garner much attention is my predilection for collecting bags.  I’ve got lots of em.  It’s not really so unusual.  In my past days as a freelancer I was forced to travel across New York City to meet clients.  Dragged along with me was a plethora of equipment, most notably a laptop computer, digital camera, and books to read on the subway.  I was never satisfied with how I carried all that crap; finding the perfect bag became an obsession.  Such was the fixations of a person who hated his job.  It was a distraction; it kept me a bit sane.

It occurs to me that you must have been carrying a bit of “a maniac’s load” back then… which, I hasten to point out, is an anagram of “Adam Casalino.” Coincidence? Perhaps. (No offense meant; it just leapt out at me. Things do.)
