Part 6 is now complete!

I am happy to announce that I have finished part 6 of the Wizard of Quippley. So the series is ensured up until then. =)

I decided to make changes to the “style” of the comic, which will be largely noticeable by part 5. How will the comic change in the future, I cannot say. I am striving to ensure the greatest quality comic I am capable of. That of course means dedication to improving my artistic and graphic design skills. I am very happy with the results so far, but I am excited to see what comes in the future.

Also, I added a newer, better share button to each post. So if you like a comic, please share it on your favorite website, using the ShareThis button at the bottom of every comic notes.

The progress of the webcomic

I’d thought I would post about the on-going progress of my webcomic’s development.

Part 3 is coming tomorrow, but I am already at the coloring stage of part 6. I wish I had more done, so I could relax; as it stands now I need to make sure I am at least a few weeks ahead so I won’t fall behind. That last thing I want to do is miss a week so early on.

As far as scripting goes, I have up to part 23-24 written out. The story begins to really take shape at that point and we meet a few more jovial characters. Algerbane’s full missions isn’t revealed YET, but we start learning more about it. Of course, with a once-a-week update scheduled, we won’t be seeing those issues for a few more months. So stay tuned! It’s going to be good!

The Artbook is live!

I just added a page featuring some of my artwork.  Hop on over and take a look!  In the next few days I will add more recent stuff, artwork related to Quippley.

New emerging content

I’ve decided to try to post at least one blog entry a day. So when this thing gets popular, visitors can always stop by each day and see how I’m doing (this thing sounds more and more like a desperate attempt at attention… but I guess all creative work is!).

A few changes…

After some painstaking adjustments and tweaks, I have given the new site quick face-lift. I added a new dynamic logo and some other changes that I think make the site a bit more pleasing to the eye.

I also activated commenting for post. No annoying memberships required. Just enter you name and e-mail address and flame away!

Just no spamming.

(Almost) pulling my hair out.

Well I had some trouble posting today’s comic.  Not good for the second issue; but its a learning process, right?  I should have prepped the comic last night to automatically post at midnight on Tuesday.  Instead I walked into work this morning and realized I didn’t have today’s issue on my pocket hard drive.  Oops.

It’s not THAT big a deal.  I did post the first issue last Tuesday night.  Plus since I’m just starting out so it’s not as if the site is getting a billion hits a day.  But I’m a bit of a perfectionist, you see.  And not being ready on the second week of the site was disappointing.
